Offered in August each year, this two-day workshop is designed for those who deliver shared courses by videoconference. Topics address a wide variety of topics of interest to both beginning and experienced videoconference teachers.

Why do parents need to sign release forms?

Parents need to be informed and sign a release stating they are aware of, and approve of, the videotaping of their child by the school and EduTech.

What options does a student have if their parents are unwilling to sign the form?

Students may attend the session but should not be in the camera’s view.

What are some best practices for identity privacy in any video event?

  • Instruct students to use their first name only rather than their first and second name.
  • Instruct student to not give any personal information such as their home address and phone number.
