Smokey Bear and Living with Fire

  • Students will learn about the three elements of the fire triangle and explain how eliminating one or more can help prevent or control a fire. An accompanying "Project Learning Tree" (PLT) hands-on activity will be sent to the participating teacher prior to the video session.

People, Prairie & Trees

  • By viewing pictures and interviewing elders, students will understand how we, as people, affect and alter the environment in which we live. An accompanying "Project Learning Tree" (PLT) hands-on activity will be sent to the participating teacher prior to the video session.
