Extend Classroom Learning Opportunity Participate in RAND

October 19, 2009

Teachers and students are invited to participate in the fifth annual Read Across North Dakota (RAND). RAND is open to K-12 students who have access to H.323 (IP) videoconference equipment.

Now in its fifth year, RAND is modeled after the international RAP event but includes only K-12 classes in North Dakota. If you and your students have never participated in either event, then consider RAND a wonderful way to get started! And if you'd like to step up to RAP but aren't sure if you'll be ready, then register for both events and consider using RAND as a great way to prepare your class for the RAP event scheduled for February 22–March 5, 2010. Either way, you're providing your students with an awesome way to celebrate reading and literacy with another classroom! There is no cost to participate.
