Jazz 1,2,3 Videoconferencing '09

Join leaders in K-12 videoconferencing to learn structures for student projects and collaborations. Utilize web 2.0 tools such as Skype, Flickr, Google Docs, Moodle, Twitter, Facebook, SecondLife, wikis, and blogs. Participate with other states such as California, New York, Ohio, and across Texas.

  • Minimum Cost: $300 per participant
  • Minimum Required: 4 participants
  • Maximum Allowed: 15 participants

Major Goal:

To move forward with using Web 2.0 tools and networking with others to utilize videoconferencing possibilities.

Participants will:

  • utilize content management systems of Blackboard.
  • experience videoconferencing while collaborating on a VC Project.
  • utilize Web 2.0 Tools.
  • be exposed to various resources for videoconference connections such as content providers.
  • learn videoconference etiquette.
