ActivInspire in the Classroom
This class will provide participants with the real hands-on experience they will need to integrate the ActivBoard into lessons. Participants will step through websites and applications that will assist them in the teaching experience.
Teachers need to have experience using an ActivBoard and/or have taken ActivInspire Fundamentals to be more successful in this class.

Major Goal:
Participants will gain experience with using the advanced features of the ActivBoard to construct a technology-integrated lesson.
Notes:
This workshop is scheduled through MREC.
Participants or their school districts are responsible for their own registration fees.
Participants are asked to bring their own laptop computers with ActivInspire software and a power cord.
Participants should plan to bring their own dinner and drink, as none will be provided.
The workshop will be held in Tech Lab 2 at the Hughes Education Center.
Participants will:
- become acquainted with websites and applications which work well with ActivBoard usage.
- explore working with backgrounds, layers and color for special effects.
- add additional images, sounds and resources to My Resources.
- work with advanced features: grouping, locking objects, restrictors, containers, cloning, actions and sounds.
- use the Flipchart builder to build a new flipchart.
- experiment with ActiVotes/ActivExpressions if requested.
