SMART Board in the Classroom Version 10
This class will provide participants with the real hands-on experience they will need to integrate the SMART Board into lessons. Participants will step through websites and applications that will assist them in the teaching experience.
Teachers need to have experience using an Smartboard and/or have taken Smartboard Fundamentals to be more successful in this class.

Major Goal:
Participants will become better familiar with the SMARTBoard and its features.
Notes:
This workshop is scheduled through MREC.
Participants or their school districts are responsible for their own registration fees.
Participants should plan to bring their own dinner and drink, as none will be provided.
The workshop will be held in Room 108. This is a computer lab and participants will be able to use the computers during the workshop.
Participants will:
- become acquainted with websites and applications which work well with Smartboard usage.
- explore working with backgrounds, layers and color for special effects.
- add additional images, sounds and resources to My Content.
- work with advanced features: grouping, locking objects, cloning, actions and sounds, the full screen, dual screen, table, shape recognition pen and magic pen.
- experiment with Senteos if requested.
