All North Dakota school districts (public, non-public, BIA and state schools) will submit a revised three-year technology plan by April 13, 2007. The ND ETC will review technology plans by May 25, 2007. Plans will be approved for a three-year period.
In addition to the need to be in compliance with NCLB, districts must have an approved technology plan as part of their E-rate application and to be included in the state’s E-rate application for state funded connections to schools.
In developing their revised technology plans districts may choose to use the online technology planning template or use their own planning process and format. In order to align with the State Educational Technology Plan and requirements of E-Rate and NCLB, districts that do not use the online planning template must be sure to include the elements contained in the Technology Plan Template.
Before April 13, 2007 submit a copy of the revised three-year plan that includes all required elements, along with technology inventory and budget to the ND ETC for review and approval. Plans and attachments (MS Word or PDF) may be submitted electronically to tech.plan@sendit.nodak.edu or mailed to:
