iSafe is a non-profit organization aimed at protecting youth during online experiences. There is a free curriculum for grades k-12.

Check out the iSafe website, or search in iTunes for iSafe videos under the podcasting section. There is one about predators on the internet that really gets through to students.

ENHANCEMENTS IN BLACKBOARD 7.2

*Early Warning System- Automatically warns instructors when
students are performing below a set standard.

*E-Portfolio - More robust tools for greater flexibility and
expression, including portfolio templates, are provided.

*Announcements posted within Blackboard can also be delivered via
e-mail.

*E-mail - Instructors will have the option of sending group e-
mails to only the students in the course.

*Gradebook - Instructors can include comments when assigning grades.

*Folder Content - Instructors can share content at the folder
level, rather than sharing items individually.

*Discussion Board – Discussions can be viewed by thread or by date
range.
