I, too, am very interested in this. Our workshop for games in the classroom was attended by several teachers at different points in their careers and different experiences with games, but all were interested and enthusiastic. One teacher who had never played games before played a 5th grade title and was stunned at how difficult AND addictive it was--she went out to buy her first game afterwards to learn more about how they work and to try to bring them into her classroom as learning tools. I am working on a book proposal that will focus on the practical issues of integrating games in the classroom; sort of a step-by-step process. I'd be very interested to hear what issues, ideas, and applications of games in learning that teachers in ND have encountered.
