The first of two videoconferences with North Dakota’s Senator Dorgan was held December 19, 2007.

Two schools participated in the event, Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock and Hazen. Thirty-nine juniors and seniors from various high school social studies classes developed questions for the Senator to answer in the forty-five minute videoconference. The topics ranged from social security, cost of higher education, No Child Left Behind, immigration and the upcoming Presidential elections. The next videoconference with Senator Dorgan will be on January 22, 2008. The two schools that will be participating are Oakes and Zeeland.
