ND Studies programs by videoconference!

Please encourage teachers in your district to check out the great curriculum-based programs on North Dakota topics provided by videoconference by our state content providers.

There are several programs planned for this fall and early winter, with more titles coming for spring. All content is standards-based and aligns to the new ND Studies curriculum. One to three sites can be included in each videoconference and the programs last between 40-60 minutes. There is a minimal fee for each program.

Register online at www.edutech.nodak.edu/training by clicking on the title in our online calendar. Please check the availability of your videoconference room and unit before you register for a session.

Programs for this fall are listed below:

October 23 - Fire Prevention: The True Story of Smokey Bear. Presented by the ND Forest Service
October 24 – Learning U.S. History Inside Out. Presented by the State Historical Society of North Dakota
November 8 – The Capitol of North Dakota is Bismarck. Presented by the State Historical Society of North Dakota
November 12 – Inventions, Innovations and Adaptations. Presented by the State Historical Society of North Dakota
December 7 – Early People in North Dakota. Presented by the State Historical Society of North Dakota

The specific time of each event will be negotiated by the participating school(s) and the content provider.

If you have questions about participating in any of these events, please contact your EduTech Regional ITS.
