East Central Region School Visits
I am in the process of making my way through the East Central region of the state to complete my school visits. Here are some FAQ's that will be discussed.
One goal of my school visits is to put a face with the voices that I have been talking with on the phone. I have completed some of my visits and have enjoyed getting the opportunity to talk with each and everyone in the school districts. Here are some FAQ's about our featured workshops so you have more information to discuss with your staff.

* Activboard Fundamentals-The ActivBoard is an interactive whiteboard which turns your computer and projector into a powerful tool for teaching, collaborating and presenting. The ActivBoard allows the user to control any application. Simply project the computer image onto the board and use the board's large touch-sensitive surface to control the application. The ActivBoard pen allows the user to work naturally at the board taking notes and highlighting information.

* Podcasting Possibilities-Educators will view podcasts via iTunes and internet browsers. They will also learn to locate appropriate podcasts that will enhance their current lesson plans.
* Videostreaming in the Classroom-Participants will learn how to utilize the internet bandwidth in their schools and integrate video content into their lessons. They will also explore three online subscriptions services: Unitedstreaming, Tumblebooks, and Atomic Learning
* Advanced Internet Utilizing Web 2.0 Tools-Participants will also explore blogging, wikis, RSS feeds, and Google tools for the classroom.
