Semester Test Time Again!!!
It is semester test time again! If your school has a separate term set up for semester test purposes only, be sure that it first is set up correctly and second that teachers are entering the semester test due date correctly. In your final grade setup at the school level, your Q4 should end earlier than the term you have set up for the S2 test. For example, my Q4 ends on May 18th. I have a term called T2, which is my Semester 2 test term. The beginning date is May 19th and the end date is May 21. Then I also have my S2 term that has the end date of May 31. What does this all mean? It means that any assignment the teacher wants to affect the Q4 grade needs to have a due date that falls within the Q4 date range. It means that if the teacher gives a semester final test and does not want that test to affect the Q4 grade but the S2 grade, they need to have that S2 test assignment fall within the T2 term which in my example is May 19-21. Please be checking to see if this is set up correctly and remind your teachers to be aware of the due dates they are entering!
