“ALMOST PERFECT” Attendance
Many of you are wanting to find students that missed less than so many days. The perfect attendance report in PowerSchool is going to only flag students with perfect attendance….no absences. Many times schools want to find students that missed 2 days or less all year and recognize those students. So how can you do that? This is what I like to do. I would select all students from the home page. Then from the drop down functions choose quick export. The fields to export will be:
lastfirst
^(*dabs;Y1)
Click submit and save to your desktop. Open the exported file with Excel. Excel will display the student names and the number of days the student was absent for the year. Now I can sort by absences in Excel and get a quick list of students that have 2 or less days absent!
