Email/Account Questions
Q: Where can I find the EduTech Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)?
A: The EduTech Acceptable Use Policy can be found in the Support section of the EduTech website under Policies. It can also be accessed directly at www.edutech.nodak.edu/support/policies/aup/.
Q: I forgot my email password - how do I get a new one?
A: Your school’s Building Facilitator has the ability to generate a new password for any user in your school. If you contact your Building Facilitator, he/she can have a new password created and emailed to them. Passwords will not be distributed via telephone or to non-EduTech addresses. Once you get your new password from your Building Facilitator, you can log into the User Resources area and change your password to something else if you wish.
Note: Building Facilitators do not have the ability to find out what your lost/forgotten password is - they are only able to replace your existing password with a new one.
Q: Where can I find information about Building Facilitators?
A: The building facilitator is responsible for validating new user account requests, deleting accounts that are no longer needed, having accounts locked that have been abused, local user support, notifying EduTech of building facilitator changes and other duties.
Q: How do I get my email account validated?
A: When a user goes to the EduTech enrollment page and requests a new account, their Building Facilitator must login into the EduTech Building Facilitator pages and validate that they are a student or staff member in their school. When the EduTech enroll process is next run, the account will actually be created. The EduTech enroll process is run automatically roughly every 20 minutes.
