Coming soon: EduSocial Blog Families!
Still a blog, but now much more
Currently any EduTech account can set up one or more blogs, and each will have a Web address similar to blogs.edutech.nodak.edu/<something>. But wouldn't it be nice to let a school or district have a blog with an address of www.school.k12.nd.us? Even better, wouldn't it be great if they could have their teachers' blogs use that as the start of their Web address (www.school.k12.nd.us/<something>)? And of course, wouldn't it be awesome if the school's technology coordinators could administer everything in that group of blogs?
We thought so too.
Later this year (Q4 2011) we will be launching a new service, EduSocial Blog Families. What can it do? Everything you can do with an EduSocial blog, but now with your own domain and more centralized management for technology coordinators.
If you are currently using EduWeb, it will eventually be retired in favor of this service, but we are not in a rush and will coordinate times at your convenience to help you transition smoothly.
