Six North Dakota high school classrooms will participate in COSI’s live knee surgery April 9th!
High school science teachers and students from Beulah, Bottineau, Elgin, Glenburn, Jamestown and Tioga will participate in COSI’s Live Surgical Suite: Total Knee Replacement via live interactive videoconference this Wednesday, April 9th from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. CST.
COSI’s surgical suite videoconference programming is open to a limited number receiving sites for participation in their live interactive videoconferencing programs. North Dakota schools were selected on a first come, first serve basis.
Surgical Suite is a powerful learning experience for students enabling them to experience a live knee surgery and the opportunity to ask questions and interact via videoconference with surgeons and medical personnel in a real hospital operating room.
Participating teachers each received a kit of materials prior to the program that contained materials to conduct both pre and post-visit activities along with booklets for the students to use during the program. Visit COSI for a complete listing of available programming.Posted by Kari Sauer on April 7, 2008 9:36 AM | Permalink
