EduTech to Host Videoconference Teacher’s Institute August 13 & 14
A two day workshop designed to assist educators who teach courses delivered by videoconference – for teachers both brand new and experienced with delivering instruction by videoconference.
The workshop will be split into two sections. Day 1 will focus on the basics of instruction when teaching over videoconference and the technology that makes it happen. Day 2 will be dedicated to utilizing the “hybrid” approach to distance learning; using an online courseware tool, Blackboard, to support your instruction so students are ensured access to course materials regardless of school schedules, weather related cancellations or technical issues. Participants can register for one or both days of the workshop.
Location(s) for the workshop will be in both face to face and videoconference formats. Multiple sites will likely be determined based on location of participants.
