Antarctica Research Connects to Middle School Earth Science
NDSU Geosciences faculty and students, Allan Ashworth, Adam Lewis, Kelly Gorz and Andrew Podoll will be in Antarctica from mid-October to later December, 2006. Their objective is to study the glacial geology of the western Olympus Range and the western Taylor Valley sectors of the Dry Valleys. The team will be living most of the time in tents in remote camps supported by helicopters.
