October 9th marks the date of the first videoconference workshop. Each workshop will be offered after school on week nights beginning at 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CST and conducted over the North Dakota Interactive Video Network. Cost is $35/participant per workshop.

The number of receiving sites will be limited to five with each site having no more than ten participants per site. Receiving sites will be determined on a first come, first served basis. (Before your site can be listed as a receiving site please check with your H.323 coordinator to make sure the room is available on the date and time of the workshop, then phone or email Kari Sauer.) It is recommended that each host site have someone present during each class that is familiar with the videoconference equipment (knows how to turn video equipment on, mute/un-mute microphones, and adjust volume).

The schedule of classes offered is available on the EduTech home page at www.edutech.nodak.edu. Click on the desired workshop, then scroll to the bottom of the page. Video workshops will be noted under the details section next to the text Delivery Method: Video. To register, call or email Kari Sauer. A minimum of six participants across all sites is needed in order to offer the class. Workshops not meeting minimum can be rescheduled at a later date. Perhaps you would like to attend a workshop not listed—not a problem. Contact your EduTech ITS and they will be happy to work with you and your school.

Graduate credit will be available as each participant completes a series of four workshops.
