Summer Videoconferencing Institute August 14th & 15th
K-20 Video teachers are invited to attend a two-day Summer Videoconferencing Institute August 14th and 15th, 2006 hosted and facilitated by EduTech (Education Technology Services). The institute will be held in Bismarck and Valley City.
Institute agenda will include the following however subject to change:
- 4–hour hands-on Blackboard session.
- Enhancing Your Classroom with Internet2.
- Content specific work groups activities. This is a chance for teachers of similar content areas to share ideas for activities and lessons.
- Preview of new technologies for the ITV classroom.
- Q & A session with video experts on everything from course management to student engagement.
- Application training – streaming video and PowerPoint.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Registration deadline is August 1, 2006. One graduate credit is available upon completion of Institute through North Dakota State University.
