ACTIVboard and SMARTboard Shootout
The vendors of ACTIVboard and SMARTboard have agreed to engage in a “shootout” where they will demonstrate the features of their product. In addition, a classroom teacher will demonstrate how they use whiteboards in the classroom.

What: Electronic Whiteboard Shootout
When: Wednesday, April 26, 2006, 9:00am to 12:00pm (CDT)
Where: Board Room, Hughes Administration Building - Bismarck, ND
Registration: No registration is required. However, to help us plan for the event, email the number of people you intend to bring, to tim.kadrmas@sendit.nodak.edu
The product demonstration will address:
1. Whiteboard composition
2. Cost of the whiteboard
3. Add-ons to the basic system
4. Built-in resources
5. Online resources
6. Classroom Teacher Demonstration
Vendors will limit their presentations to a maximum of 90 minutes, including the teacher demo. Be sure to come ready with questions you need answered.
EduTech will be taping the session, so in the event that you may not be able to attend in person, we can provide you with a DVD of the event.

Although EduTech is creating this opportunity for you, we will not, in any way or by any means, promote one product over the other to any of our educational clients or constituencies. We are providing this service solely to assist schools in their debate over which product to purchase.
