About EduTech
What We Do
EduTech provides information technology services and education technology professional development to K-12 educators in North Dakota. Our services are designed to give educators access, training and support to use technologies in their classrooms to improve teaching and learning. EduTech uses a regional model to provide support services to schools by housing staff in school/campus locations across North Dakota. Staff members are located in Bismarck, Devils Lake, Killdeer, Elgin, Valley City, Grand Forks and Fargo.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide North Dakota educators and students with opportunities that extend learning in the classroom and beyond focusing on the use of technology to improve student achievement.
Our Background
The Center for Innovation in Instruction and SENDIT Technology Services merged in May 2002 to form EduTech. The merger provides coordinated educational technology resources and technical support to North Dakota K-12 Schools and facilitates the delivery of services by employing regional personnel.
Our Governance
The ND Educational Technology Council provides governance for EduTech. EduTech is funded by the ND Legislature and is a line item in the Information Technology Department (ITD) budget.
